Rockstar have revealed that a few of their older titles will be affected by the recent announcement that GameSpy’s servers would be shutting down.
Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto IV will still work online, but some of their features will be lost, such as the Social Club’s tracking feature. The Social Club is Rockstar’s own social platform where gamers can track their progress through games, as well as check out leaderboards and help one another out.
Max Payne 3, on the other hand, will completely lose its online multiplayer mode on Mac platforms, whilst the Social Club tracking features will be fine.
