Hayao Miyazaki Collection Delayed to Remove Music Video Following Drug Arrest

Walt Disney Japan has announced the “Hayao Miyazaki Works” Blu-ray and DVD collection has been delayed from a planned June 18 release to July 2 so that the 1995 Chage & Aska animated music video “One Your Mark” can be removed. The move was prompted by the drug possession arrest of the singer/song writer duo’s Chage.

Universal Music and Yamaha Music Communications similarly responded to the violation of Japan’s suspicious stimulants control laws by suspending sales of Chage & Aska music. The duo, who reunited in 2013 following a four year break, have sold over 31 million albums and singles in Japan.
