Bungie have revealed more details regarding multiple aspects of their upcoming shooter Destiny. One of the most interesting announcements is that the title’s competitive multiplayer will not be available to players straight away. Instead, will have to play for “a couple of hours tops” in order to unlock PvP multiplayer.
Tyson Green, a developer at Bungie, explained why this decision was made:
“We found early on that people here in the studio, when they jumped on the game, they would roll a new character, play through the first mission then go right into PvP, and they would just get really beaten up by the other players because they didn’t have a super ability yet and they’d only got an auto rifle from the first mission.
