Trion Worlds have announced that their “post-apocalyptic massively co-op online cyberwestern shooter”, Defiance, will become free-to-play on June 4th.
The title, which is a tie-in game for SyFy’s TV show of the same name, will offer all of the original content at its shelf price absolutely free of charge. Trion Worlds states:
“Starting June 4 on PC and mid-July on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, players will be able to download the Defiance client and experience the entire Bay Area storyline, original end-game content, and future missions completely for free.”
