Th official website for the upcoming new PreCure All Stars film, PreCure All Stars: Haru no Carnival (Spring Carnival) launches today with the first main visual featuring 37 PreCure girls and a 50-second teaser. More girls from the next TV series (Go! Princess PreCure?) are supposed to join in the visual after the official announcement for them is made. So the total number of the girls in the next film may be around 40.
The film is directed by Junji Shimizu, who was the series director of the Fresh PreCure! TV series in 2009, and previously directed five PreCure feature films including the first three: Futari wa PreCure Max Heart (2005), Futari wa PreCure Max Heart: Yukizora no Tomodachi (2005), and Futari wa PreCure Splash Star: Chikutaku Kiki Ippatsu! (2006). Mio Inoue (Heartcatch PreCure!) writes the screenplay and Yasuharu Takanashi, who worked for four TV series (Fresh, Heartcatch, Suite, Smile), again provides
the soundtrack.
It is also confirmed that the content of the future All Stars films from this one will feature the PreCure girls'
dance and songs mainly. It will be more like the girls' long promotional video like the 2011 CG short PreCure
All Stars DX 3D Theater (Blu-ray title: PreCure All Stars DX: the DANCE LIVE ~Welcome to the Miracle
Dance Stage~). But it is understandable that it is the only way to feature all of the girls in one film of 60-70
minutes length. Let's hope all of them have some speaking lines.
The highly anticipated film PreCure All Stars: Haru no Carnival is scheduled to be released in Japan
on March 14, 2015. The advance ticket with a special bag and scrunchie will go on sale on December 27.
