Yu Kamiya's world conquest-themed fantasy light novel series No Game, No Life and its manga adaptation illustrated by Kamiya and Mashiro Hiiragi have sold over 1.35 million copies in total in Japan. And the first volume of the manga's English edition published by Seven Seas Entertainment topped the New York Times' weekly manga best seller ranking announced on November 9.
Following the successful English edition, the release of the Portuguese editions of the light novel and manga adaptation have already been decided. To promote the upcoming release, the novel author Yu Kamiya and manga illustrator Mashiro Hiiragi will be invited to the Ressaca Friends 2014 event in São Paulo, Brazil, and will hold an autograph session for the fans at Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul on December 20 and 21.
