Along the lines of spring's Nanana's Buried Treasure, alt-audience anime block Noitamina has slated another surprisingly otaku targeted light novel adaptation for winter 2015. Fumiaki Maruto and illustrator Kurehito Misaki's Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata (How Not to Raise a Heroine) light novel series follows a guy working part time to support his obsessive Blu-ray buying habit. As he works on a doujin game for Comiket, he finds himself surrounded by girls who act like bishoujo game characters.
Saori Ōnishi voices half-Japanese childhood friend Eriri Spencer Sawamura while Ai Kayano is cold literary genius Kasumigaoka Utaha. Announced staff includes author Fumiaki Maruto on the scripts and K-on!'s Hajime Hyakkoku on music.
