Club Sunday's Youtube channel has posted a promo for the TV broadcast of the Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple anime OVAs, previously packaged with limited editions of Syun Matsuena's shonen action manga.
Shogakukan officially announced last month that the OVA series will be started airing on Tokyo MX and BS 11 on April 8, as the 11-episode TV series titled Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple Yami no Shugeki (The Attack of Darkness). Due to the broadcast time limits, the on-air version will be edited and a bit shorter than the original OVA version. Brain's Base has animated the OVA series after TMS Entertainment for the first TV series.
A 50-episode TV anime series aired on TV Tokyo from October 2006 to September 2007.
