Maidigi TV has posted the latest PV for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Tsutomu Sato's popular light novel series The Irregular at Magic High School. The 15-second PV introduces the highlight scenes of the anime and the OP song "Rising Hope" performed by 26-year-old singer LiSA. The song will be released as her 5th solo single in Japan on May 7. You can also check the 30-second main chorus part of the song on her official website now.
The TV anime is produced by Madhouse (Death Note, Summer Wars), and Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, the Saki series) serves as the director. Kana Ishida, who is the original illustrator for the novel, also designs the anime characters. It is scheduled to premiere in April.
