Anime's first heroic giant robot piloted from an internal cockpit was 1972's Mazinger Z. Its first foes were Mechanical Beasts Doublas M2 and Garada K7. So, when Toei offers Robot Girls Z moe version Z-chan and Doublas as hug pillows and sheets, they're certainly dipping into a deep legacy.
Sheets (10,800yen), hug pillows 10,800yen and 1100 × H1550mm hot spring tapesty (19,440yen) are exclusive items for the Toei Animation webstore, but will be at the Anime Japan tradeshow.
