Back in December it was announced that Virtua Fighter's Akira will join Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax as a boss. The Sega character's inclusion celebrates 20 years of Virtua Fighter, just as the crossover fighting game itself celebrates 20 years of the Dengeki light novel imprint.
Akira makes his boss appearance, with Pai Chan by his side as a support character, at the end of single-player mode. We'll learn more about Akira's presence in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax at an event on March 16, but for now you can see him taking on some of the roster in the first set of screens below.
