Evangelion character designer and manga author Yoshiyuki Sadamoto has overseen the creation of a NERV shoulder holster, based on the one seen being worn by Misato Katsuragi in volume 8/stage 50 of the manga. He also illustrates a special serial number illustration card on the item shipping at the end of the month.
Masao Komiyama created the largely handmade item, which boasts that its quality is sufficient for real guns. Japanese consumers are far more likely to use it with airsoft weapons, but for those who'd rather not pack any heat, the weapon hold can be swapped out for a smartphone case.
While based on Misato's measurements, it's adjustable to let fans of either gender wear the item.
The item definitely isn't cheap, selling on Amazon for 52,500 yen.
