SB Creative's light novel imprint GA Bunko announced on the newly-launched special site today on March 11 that an anime adaptation of Kota Nozomi's love comedy/action series Inou-Battle wa Nichijo-kei no Naka de/INOU-Battle in the Usually Daze is in the works by Trigger (Little Witch Academia, Kill la Kill). The first volume of the novel series illustrated by 029 (The Devil Is a Part-Timer!) was published in June 2012 and the latest/sixth volume will be released on March 15.
Also the manga adaptation of the novel by Kosuke Kurose has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp-Ace since the September 2013 issue and the first tankobon volume is scheduled to be published on March 26. Kurose has already posted a commemorative illustration for the anime project on his official Twitter account.
INOU-Battle in the Usually Daze will be Trigger's first non-original work (excluding subcontracted works
such as The Idolm@ster and Black Rock Shooter). How and when the anime will be distributed is not
announced yet. The story revolves around five members of literary club at Senkou high school. One day,
they suddenly get supernatural power. But their school life is still peaceful and quite, nothing around them
has changed. It seems there is no chance to use the power at all.... Then they decide to just waste it in
their daily life.
