21-year-old Japanese idol singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu will release her 9th single "Family Party" on April 16. It will be featured as the theme song for the upcoming film Crayon Shin-chan: Gachinko! Gyakushu no Robo To-chan (Serious Battle! Robot dad strikes back). This is her first original film theme song. The 22nd Crayon Shin-chan feature film, which is directed by Wataru Takahashi who has been working on the TV series and films since 1992, hits Japanese theaters three days later on April 19. "Family Party" is written/composed/produced by Yasutaka Nakata who produced all of her previous singles and albums.
Her 4th single "Kimi ni 100 Percent" has been used as the OP song for the Crayon Shin-chan TV anime series since the 783rd episode (October 19, 2012), and also featured as the OP song for the 21st film Bakauma! B-kyu Gourmet Survival!! released last year. She even appeared as herself in the
TV anime's 793rd episode aired on January 25, 2013.
