"Shaq Fu" Returns, Crowdfunding Campaign Aims to Make a Sequel That's Actually Good

For those too young to remember it, Shaq Fu is a legendarily bad fighting game originally released on Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo in 1994. As the name implies, it stars Shaq, and no, it's not "so bad it's good." It's just bad. 


 



So bad


 


Just because it's awful doesn't mean it isn't fondly remembered in some weird way, and that's precisely why it's getting a sequel 20 years later. 


 


Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn is a real thing. Even Shaq himself is here to convince you it's real, and he's well aware the first one was a real stinker. Here he is offering up some reasons to back the sequel's crowd-funding campaign, which is now live on Indiegogo:
