Convenience Store Chain Lawson Japan Launches "Free!" Promotion Campaign

Unfortunately, it's not a promotion for free shopping at a convenience store, but Free! fans, feast your eyes with the latest image posted! To promote the second season, which is rumored to start in July (fingers crossed), sexy summer swimming anime Free! will launch a collaboration campaign with Japanese convenience store franchise Lawson and the collaboration images have been posted. The boys are in Lawson uniform inspired track jerseys, with the color scheme matching perfectly with the Iwatobi High School colors.

The promotion will start on the 17th of this month in Japan and posters will be posted at participating Lawson branches and on the packages of collaboration Calbee products, such as potato chips and Kappa Ebisen available in store.

The promotion campaign is 3 fold. First, customers can purchase 2 collaboration Calbee products to receive the above Lawson exclusive Free! individual stick posters while supplies last (we know how long they'll last. Not very long) Second, a Twitter retweet promotion will also start on the 17th in Japan for Twitter users to follow Lawson's official Twitter account and retweet from the official promotion site for a chance to win the key visual poster. For this, only one lucky winner needs to reside in Japan or be able to receive the prize in Japan to be choosen.

Lastly, the key visual wallpaper for smartphones will be free to download from the Lawson official app for iPhone and Android. Users can download it from the Entertainment Contents section starting from March 18th in Japan. The app is in Japanese only.
