The story begins in the planet Eltoria which is quietly dying because of devastation. The Florian family,
consisting of a researcher couple and their two daughters, Amitie and Kyrie, are still staying in the planet
with the dream of revitalizing it. However, father Grants Florian collapses from his illness, then their dream
crumbles. Meanwhile, Kyrie decides to go in search of a way to save her father and to revive the planet in
a "different world far away." Her older sister Amitie tries to stop her, but Kyrie rejects her control and goes
on a journey to the different world along with her childhood and best friend Iris.
Their destination is Japan, a small island country in the planet called "earth." Kirie and Iris, looking for the
key to revive their planet, visit three girls who live in Japan. The three girls are: Nanoha Takamachi, Fate
