NHK, Japan's only public broadcaster announced today that the 13-episode first season of the Love Live! Sunshine!! TV anime will be aired on its ETV (NHK Educational TV) channel in three weeks of August 2017. The first season of the second Love Live! TV anime series was originally aired on several commercial stations from July to September 2016. Since the second season is already set to premiere this fall, no doubt it will be great publicity for the franchise.

August 6: 00:25-02:05 (Episode 1-4)
August 13: 00:25-02:05 (Episode 5-8)
August 20: 00:25-02:25 (Episode 9-13)
Love Live! has been a favorite anime series for NHK that has 54 sub-broadcasting stations in 47 prefectures
all over Japan (it means their programs can be watched anywhere in Japan). The first season of the first
Love Live! TV anime was also aired on the channel from January to March of 2016, three years after its original
broadcast, then the second season followed in April to July of the same year. And even the feature film Love
Live! The School Idol Movie was aired in January 2017.
