"Fist of The North Star" Gets Stage Play Adaptation Featuring Thugs

It is confirmed today that a stage play based on Buronson and Tetsuo Hara's post-apocalyptic action manga series Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star is scheduled to be performed in Tokyo this September. The manga started its serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983 and this stage play is part of its 35th anniversary project.

As the title "Legend of the Century's End Thugs" suggests, the stage play will focus on the thugs of the Raoh army, instead of the main characters. The tagline is "The stage play of the thugs, only for the thugs, by the thugs." It will be performed at Theater G-Rosso in Tokyo eight times from September 6 to 10.
