Nintendo announced a new version of its successful Nintendo 3DS portable, serving as a bridge between the 3DS XL and the more affordable, kid-friendly 2DS. The result is the New Nintendo 2DS XL—closer to a 3DS without the 3D features—and it's coming to the west on July 28 for $149.99.
The New Nintendo 2DS XL will launch alongside Hey! PIKMIN and Miitopia. It's currently going to be available in black/turquoise, but hopefully we'll get more colors in the future.
Speaking of alternate colors, Japan's white/orange version would be a great start. Gimme dat!
