New "Final Fantasy Explorers" Screens Showcase Odin, Amaterasu, and Leviathan

A staggering amount of new screenshots have been released for Final Fantasy Explorers, and they show off a series of new summons for the game: Amaterasu, Odin, and Leviathan. Included in the screenshot blast are also additional jobs, familiar Final Fantasy characters, and fields.

Amaterasu has never previously been seen in a Final Fantasy game, though Odin and Leviathan have made several appearances in previous iterations of the game. All three are interesting additions to the Final Fantasy Explorers cast of summons, and no doubt will attract players.

Also shown off in the screenshots are new fields like the Torabi Sea Cave, Pojo's Forest, and the Rapunson Desert, while you can salivate over jobs such as the Machinist, Red Mage, and Bard. As far as familiar Final Fantasy characters go, faces ilke Yuna, Tidus, Leon, and Bartz Klause show up as well.

Looks like Final Fantasy Explorers is rounding out to be an interesting entry in the series. Which part are you most excited about? Not too much longer to wait now, as the game is set for a December 18 release in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.
