Two new cast members have been introduced for the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Yusei Matsui's Assassination Classroom manga. Assassin/sadistic PE teacher Akira Takaoka is Masanobu Takashima ( Daisuke Matoba in L: Change the World ) and transfer student Itona Horibe is played by Seishiro Kato (the lead in Ninja Kids!!! ).
Other cast includes Ryosuke Yamada as Nagisa Shiota, Masaki Suda as Karma Akabane, Maika Yamamoto as Kaede Kayano, Kippei Shiina as Tadaomi Karasuma, and Kang Ji-young as Irina Jelavić Original character for the film, Ayaka Saito is played by 16-year-old actress Wakana Aoi.
The shooting of nearly all of the film was finished on October 23. But they presumably still have a lot of post-production works to add the CGI Korosensei. The highly-anticipated live-action film is slated for March 21, 2015.
