One of the most viewed Japanese independent anime shorts recently is "Onikiri Musume Saisen" (Ogre Slaying Girl: Rematch) created by the two-member unit tsubura formed by Rabbit MACHINE and purikoko. The 79-second short is an updated version of Rabbit MACHINE's 2009 work "Onikiri Shoujo." According to him, the production period was three months from May to July 2014. Rabbit MACHINE drew 1,356 in-betweens, while purikoko created the background music. The number of the total cuts was 25. Check how they have improved their skills with the two videos below.
