Avex Pictures today posted the second full trailer for the first chapter of the trilogy film project, Shin Gekijo-ban Initial D: Legend 1-Kakusei (Awakening)- on its official YouTube channel. In the beginning, the trailer introduces a comment from the original manga creator Shuichi Shigeno, "Simply put, I got excited and impressed."
It is also announced that 44-year-old singer Ryuichi Kawamura provides the theme song "never fear," which you can hear in the end of the new trailer, for the film. Kawamura is well-known as the vocalist of the rock band Luna Sea and for his successful 17-year solo singer career with 19 singles and 10 albums.
Shin Gekijo-ban Initial D: Legend 1-Kakusei- hits Japanese theaters on August 23.
