A teaser poster for Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends), the second part of the final installment of the Takeru Sato-starring Rurouni Kenshin live-action film series, is revealed to Japanese media today on August 6. It features badly wounded Kenshin lying in the beach and a mysterious person with his Sakabato. Who the person is? The much anticiapted final chapter hits Japanese theaters on September 13.
The first part Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno) was released in Japan on August 1 with 439 screens. It recorded the biggest opening of 2014 Japanese films earning 820,000,000 yen (about US$ 8 million) in the first three days.
