Sadao Abe to Voice Alien Hand in Live-Action "Parasyte"

In time for a special presentation on NTV's Friday Roadshow, actor/comedy rocker Sadao Abe has been introduced as the voice and motion capture model for Migi in the live-action adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki's Parasyte. The alien parasite that attempts to bore into the teen lead's hand, but, thwarted by headphones, winds up in his right hand.


Sadao Abe voiced the bear in Shokotan tokusatsu vehicle Gothic Lolita Battle Bear and played the leads in Maiko Haaaan!!!, released in North America by Viz, and the live-action adaptation of manga Team Medical Dragon.


 


The character is voiced by Aya Hirano in the fall anime.


 




 


The first part is scheduled to be released in Japan on November 29, 2014, then the second part, tentatively titled as "The Final Chapter," will follow sometime in 2015.
