Some of you might recall a special Monopoly: Pokémon Edition version of the classic board game released back in 1999. The two are getting ready to combine forces once again in Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition, which GameStop has up for pre-order with an August 30 release date.
Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition is priced at $45 and includes a themed game board featuring the Kanto Region and all eight gyms. You can fight with your friends and family over who gets to use Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Eevee, or Jigglypuff tokens as you claim Poké Marts and Pokémon Centers rather than the usual houses and hotels.
So what'll it be, this or the Zelda monopoly set that comes out next month?
