A three volume DVD set of Adventure Time is set to be released in Japan on August 8th, and to promote it, Junko Wantabe has bee appointed the the series’ mini-skirted ambassador. While the series does featured a gender-swapped version of its hero, in this case, Ms Wantabe is explicitly crossplaying as Finn, who is voiced by Romi Park (Full Metal Alchemist’s Ed, Kill La Kill‘s Ragyo, Attack on Titan‘s Hange) in the Japanese dub.
Jake is voiced by Shirō Saitō (various supporting anime roles including cat form Yoruichi Shihōin in Bleach and Bao in Black Lagoon). Rie Tanaka (Gundam SEED‘s Lacus Clyne ) is Princess Bubblegum. Miyuki Sawashiro (Hunter x Hunter‘s Kurapika) is Flame Princess. Other principal cast members are primarily voice actors for dubs rather than anime
