The Korean live-action drama of manga Nodame Cantabile is getting a nice new name pun for its title. The show produced by Group 8, the folks behind the dramas based on Boys Over Flowers, Princess Hours, and Playful Kiss, will be called Naeildo Cantabile, which can be read as "Tomorrow's Cantabile" or "Nae Il's Cantabile," in reference to the female lead's name, Seol Nae Il.
The show, which stars Joo Won, Shim Eun Kyung, Go Kyung Pyo, and Park Bo Gum will premiere in mid-October on KBS2.
Tomoko Ninomiya's 2001 manga follows an arrogant perfectionist studying at a college of music who becomes involved with an eccentric, but talented pianist. It's previously been adapted into anime, live-action Japanese drama and live-action movies.
