Bandai Teams Up With Noritake to Recreate “Gundam” Vase

Bandai Teams Up With Noritake to Recreate “Gundam” Vase

Continuing to stretch the limits of merchandise tie-in, Bandai has teamed up with Japan’s century old tableware company Noritake to produce a reproduction of the vase obsessed over by M’Quve, an aristocratic Zeon officer who opposes the heroes’ Earth campaign in the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

The pricey bone china item, recognizable to Gundam faithful, measures 155×140×300mm and is on sale now on the Bandai Premium store for 41,040yen ahead of a December release.

Bandai has also worked with Noritake on a set of tea cups based on Zeon’s ruling Zabi clan. Bone china cups and saucers based on Gihren and Garma sell for 7,776 yen. Sieg Zeon!
