Hyrule Warriors is getting ready to make its villains playable in an update that hits Japan on September 30. The free update will add playable versions of Cia, Volga, and Wizzro, along with a feature that lets players turn off enemy appearance cutscenes in Adventure Mode.
While these are free, future paid DLC plans were also detailed. Four packs are on the way starting in October, and those who pre-order all four via the "All-in-One Discount Pack" will unlock a Dark Link outfit, pictured below.
The discount pack will be available to pre-order on September 30. Here's the lowdown on the individual packs:
Ura Zelda Musou Pack (October 16, ¥1,200)
New weapon, new scenario, Adventure Map Pack, two costumes
Twilight Princess Pack (Late November, ¥1,200)
New character, new weapon, Adventure Map Pack, two costumes
Majora's Mask Pack (January 2015, ¥1200)
Two new characters, Adventure Map Pack, three costumes
Ganon Pack (February 2015, ¥500)
Two new game modes
Hyrule Warriors hits Wii U in North America on September 26, one week after its September 19 debut in Europe.
