The official YouTube channel of Yoshiki, the leader/drummer of X Japan, has posted a full version promotional video for their 1994 song "Rusty Nail," titled "X Japan - Rusty Nail (Anime Version 1994)." The song was released in Japan on July 10, 1994, as the band's 10th single, and became their first Oricon No.1 song.
The anime footage was originally produced as a pilot film for the band's anime feature film project. After the project was canceled, it was released as a bonus content for the first edition of their best album "PERFECT BEST" in February 1999.
