TV Asahi’s official site for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Daisuke Ashihara’s sci-fi action manga World Trigger announced today that three-member Japanese rock band Sonar Pocket performs the theme song for the anime, “GIRIGIRI.” The title literally means by a small margin or to the limit in Japanese. Because the members of the band have been big fans of the manga, they were so happy with the offer of the theme song. The song will be released as their double A-side 18th single with “Egao no Riyuu.” (The reason of the smile) in Japan on November 5.
The TV anime World Trigger is scheduled to premiere at 6:30 am on October 5.
