It was officially announced in her first LINE live-broadcasting program last night, 29-year-old popular Japanese otaku singer/actress Shoko Nakagawa, also known as Shokotan, will sing "Dori Dori," the new ED song for the popular TV anime Pocket Monster XY. The 30-minute program was streamed to promote her latest anime song cover album "TOKYO SHOKO☆LAND 2014 RPG-teki Michi no Kioku" which was just released yesterday in Japan.
The song is produced as an image song for Serena, the main heroine character of the show voiced by Mayuki Makiguchi. Shokotan herself writes the lyrics of the song with Yuho Iwasato, who is well known for her collaboration works with Maaya Sakamoto. The title "Dori Dori" is taken from the main theme and bridge of the song, "Dream Power."
The TV anime will start using the song on October 16. Ahead of the broadcast, Shokotan will perform
it for the first time in public at her concerts at Zepp Diver City Tokyo on October 12 and 13.
