Good news: North America is getting that slick Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth-branded Nintendo 3DS XL. It's coming exclusively to GameStop and will be sold as hardware only for $199.99.
Pictured below, the Persona Q 3DS XL sports the iconic Velvet Room Grimoire styling on the front, with the new character designs on the back.
Persona Q launches in the Americas both digitally and at retail on November 25. As previously reported, pre-orders and limited first-print copies come with set #2 of the Persona Tarot Cards and special packaging to hold both the cards and the game. You'll be able to pre-order the 3DS XL at GameStop.
Nintendo showed off two additional flavors for North America, including the Super Smash Bros. 3DS XL and one styled like the original NES.
- Super Smash Bros. Edition Nintendo 3DS XL:Red and blue systems go on sale at retailers nationwide on Sept. 19 in honor of the Oct. 3launch of the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS game. The cover of the new hardware features a dozen of the game’s characters, including Mario, Link, Samus and Little Mac. The systems will be available at a suggested retail price of $199.99 each. (The Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS game is sold separately.)
- NES Edition Nintendo 3DS XL: This cool-looking GameStop exclusive goes on sale Oct. 10 at a suggested retail price of $199.99. The hardware is modeled after Nintendo’s iconic NES controller and the box looks like an NES system.
