The story of The Seven Deadly Sins has Princess Elizabeth searching out the notorious Seven Deadly Sins in order to take back her kingdom after Britannia is taken by the powerful Holy Knights. The sixth, unfortunately region blocked, commercial introduces the first of this group with Mamoru Miyano (Free!’s Rin) voicing lightning tossing Gilthunder.
Tensai Okamura (Darker than Black, Blue Exorcist) will be directing the fall A-1 Pictures (Blue Exorcist, Magi, Sword Art Online) production.
Shotaro Suga (Darker than Black, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) is on series composition with Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist) on character design and overseeing animation direction. Hiroyuki Sawano (Blue Exorcist, Attack on Titan, Kill La Kill) provides the music. Ikimono-gakari is on the opening , while FLOW and GRANRODEO perform the anime’s end theme.
