Haruhiko Mikimoto Draws Key Visual for "Oshare Macross 7" Collaboration Shop

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary for Macross 7 and Macross Plus, both started in 1994, Shinjuku Marui Annex in Tokyo will open the latest collaboration shop "Oshare Macross 7" on October 17 for three weeks till November 5. The "Oshare Macross" events have been hold 14 times across Japan, and this the eighth event in Shinjuku.  


 


Haruhiko Mikimoto, the original character designer for the first TV series in 1982 and Macross 7, has provided a newly-drawn key visual featuring Mylene Flare Jenius and Basara Nekki from Macross 7 for the shop. While no details have been revealed, it is expected to have various Macross merchandise including apparels and accessories, with a gallery space as usual.


 


Also as part of the 20th anniversary project, an encore press of the Blu-ray box set for Macross 7 and


Macross Plus has been already announced for a limited time till April 23, 2015. The shipment will begin


in the middle of October.
