Publisher Electronic Arts has announced SimCity BuildIt, a mobile-centric edition of its popular metropolis management series.
The game is in development for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, complete with a revamped interface for touch-screens.
“Pinch, zoom, and rotate 360 degrees as you manage your city in the palm of your hand,” EA wrote in a statement.
“With countless buildings and vivid, 3D-quality graphics, it’s the most advanced mobile building simulation game. Whether you’re a savvy city planner or a strategic mastermind, take control and have fun wherever you are.”
There is no firm release date for any of the platforms, though EA says it is “coming soon”. Two additional images are posted below:
