Crunchyroll has a new anime announcement to liven up the morning, with the addition of Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru to its fall simulcast lineup. This one comes in conjunction with PONYCAN USA, a new label established for Pony Canyon's entrance into the North American home video market.
Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru will broadcast every Thursday starting on October 16 at 11:19am Pacific Time for Premium Members, with free members able to watch one week later. The series will be available to stream worldwide except for Asia.
Crunchyroll's synopsis:
Yuna Yuki is an ordinary second-year middle school student. She gets up in the morning, gets ready for school, goes to classes, participates in club activities, and has fun with her friends. But there is one extraordinary thing about Yuki -- she belongs to the “Brave Hero Club.” What does the Brave Hero Club do? Who is the mysterious being called “Vertex?” Yuki Yuna and her friends’ story takes place in Year 300, Era of the Gods.
The titular character Yuna Yuki is voiced by Haruka Terui, who previously also voiced Kobeni Yonomori from Engaged to the Unidentified. Suzuko Mimori, Rurumo from last season’s Magimoji Rurumo, plays Mimori Togo, Tomoyo Kurosawa, who also voiced Tina Sprout from Black Bullet, stars as Itsuki Inubozaki, and Yumi Uchiyama, also known for playing Kirishima from Arpeggio of Blue Steel, will voice Fu Inubozaki.
