The second anime joining the Crunchyroll fall simulcast lineup in conjunction with the newly-formed PONYCAN USA is Denki-gai no Honya-san. The series will stream every Thursday starting on October 2 at 7:30am Pacific Time for premium members, with free members able to watch one week later.
Denki-gai no Honya-san will be available worldwide except for Asia.
Crunchyroll's synopsis:
A blush-inducing, coming-of-age comedy about manga-loving book store employees! The unique cast of characters -- all hard-core manga fans and maniacs of some sort - work at the “Uma no Hone” comic shop. On a daily basis, they display new releases, shrink-wrap comics, shudder at their lack of feminine qualities, question their love for porn literature, and basically have fun while working hard. Girls and guys call each other by nicknames and some begin to develop close relationships!
The cast of employees features Natsumi Takamori as Hiotan, Minami Tsuda as Sensei, Ayana Taketasu as Fu-Girl, Mai Aizawa as Kameko, Satomi Sato as Tsumorin, Yu Kobayashi as G-Men, Ryota Osaka as Umio, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kantoku, and Takahiro Tomita as Sommelier. Animation Production is by the studio behind numerous long-running and famous titles such as the Doraemon series and Crayon Shin-chan movies, Shinei Animation.
