Chibi metal act BABYMETAL, Harajuku kawaii ambassador Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, MAN WITH A MISSION of Log Horizon "Database! Database!" fame, Daichi Miura, and SEKAI NO OWARI have made the list of wildcards to be selected as Japan’s nominee list for Best Worldwide Act for The 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA). Voting is being held on Twitter through September 15th.
The winner goes up against Namie Amuro, E-girls, ONE OK ROCK, and Perfume to becomes Japan's nominee, with voting for that round opening on September 16th. That winner goes up against South Korea's for the region's nominee, who will then go up the rest of the globe for The 2014 MTV EMA prize, awarded on November 9 in Glasgow, Scotland.
