The official Twitter account for the Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- anime series announced today on September 19 that the upcoming compilation film titled Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- DC will open in Japan on January 31, 2015. It is also confirmed that the film will include a new episode with a new character. The three-member voice actress unit Trident formed by Mai Fuchigami (Iona), Manami Numakura (Takao), and Hibiku Yamamura (Haruna), will perform the OP theme song for the film. The all-new second film is planned to release within the same year.
The 12-episode TV anime adaptation of Ark Performance's Arpeggio of Blue Steel manga was aired in Japan from October to December 2013. The same staff of the TV anime including the director Seiji Kishi teams up again for the two-part film project.
