Uogokoro-kun is the mascot character of Nagarekawa-city, where the main story of the 2014 summer TV anime Locodol/Futsu no Joshikosei ga Locodol Yattemita takes place. Maya Yoshioka (plays Yui Mikoze) and Inori Minase (Mirai Nazukari), the two voice actresses of the anime kindly teach us the dance for its theme song "Uogokoro-kun Song."
Locodol was premiered on July 3 for Crunchyroll's premium members, with free members able to watch one week later. It is available worldwide excluding Asia. The story focuses on two high school girls Nanako Usami (CV:Miku Ito) and Yukari Kohinata (CV: Sachika Misawa), who happen to work as a local idol unit "Nagarekawa Girls." The "Nagarekawa-city" in the story is based on the real Nagarekawa area in Hiroshima Prefecture.
