Media Factory today posted a 80-second promotional video to announce the launch of Chugaku Akamatsu’s popular light novel series Aria the Scarlet Ammo‘s new project called “Project Code AA.” According to the video, at least three plans will be included in the upcoming project.
The first one is a novelization of the on-going spin-off manga Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double to be published in this winter. The manga is illustrated by Shogako Tachibana with an original story by Akamatsu himself. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan since 2010 and the latest 8th tankobon volume will be published on August 23. The novelization is also written by Akamatsu with arts by Kobuichi, the illustrator for the original Aria novel series. The second and third plans will be announced around the time the novel is published. Probably a new anime series?
