Speculation Greets "Evangelion: You Can (Not) Redo" Broadcast Plans

NTV's Roadshow has been doing a summer of Studio Ghibli movies on Fridays with Princess Mononoke airing a couple of weeks ago, Totoro last weekend, and Arrietty today (nicely timed for the premiere of director Hiromasa Yonebayashi's When Marnie Was There). However, they will be ending the season with three Evangelion movies, and this has fans speculating.

Oricon reports that Evangelion:Death(True)2 will air August 18th, followed by End of Evangelion the 25th, and a special Friday broadcast of the third Rebuild of Evangelion, paired with live-action short Giant God Warrior Appears in Tokyo on September 5th.

Now, fans are expecting some Evangelion: Final announcement or teaser for this broadcast... possibly that the movie would be planned for Neon Genesis Evangelion's fall 2015 20th anniversary?

Evangelion has a history of news and teasers during Friday Roadshow broadcasts, including the infamous troll job in which a hyped 3.0 teaser turned out to be footage of a piano and a tree.

A couple of bonus pennings produced for earlier broadcasts...
