Peek in your closet or scan your gaming shelf and you might just find a robot in diguise. Takara Tomy Arts is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Transformers along with the 20th anniversary of Sony’s original PlayStation by mashing the console and Autobot leader Optimus Prime together to make a super gaming robot.
Due out in early 2015, this is actually the second project that mixes Transformers and video game systems. There’s also a Mega Drive Megatron due out in September for ¥10,000 ($98). Yep, you’ll finally be able to realize your dream of combining the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis console and the nefarious Decepticon villain into a transforming figure.
