Arisa Yamamoto, an assistant to Hajime Isayama on Attack on Titan, has blogged that Comic Zenon editors have dropped plans to serialize her new manga online out of concern that “there was a chance it might be designated harmful literature” under Tokyo ordinance concerning content inappropriate to minors.
If, like Younger Sister Paradise 2, it was judged to feature material that "significantly and unjustly glorifies sex that deviates from social norms," sales of tankōbon collections would have been restricted in Tokyo. Amazon responded to the May case by removing digital Kindle editions of the ero-game adaptation from its stores.
The manga would have run in Web Comic Zenyon, a spin-off featuring mature, often sexual seinen series such as Abi-sama wa Kyounen 17-sai de Kono no Yo wo Satta no de Arimasu and Ore to Sex Sureba Ureru.
Titan creator Isayama spoke up on Yamamoto’s behalf, calling the treatment she’s received “unbelievable.”
