"Gintama" Anime Special and Blu-ray Sets Planned

As Gintama celebrates its 10th anniversary, a new one-episode anime revival has been planned. This will screen as part of this year's Jump Festa 2014 six-city tour along with anime based on Naruto Shippuden, Assassination Classroom, World Trigger, Haikyu!! and Blood Blockade Battlefront.

Meanwhile a new box set collection of the Gintama anime has been planned. The first 201 episodes will be released in four sets, bimonthly starting in December at 35,000 yen (plus tax) each.

Also celebrating the anniversary, through the year, the magazine's spines are all featuring Gintama characters.
