Bandai Namco Games has another crossover planned for Tales of Zestiria, which hits PlayStation 3 in Japan on January 22, 2015. One of the major collaborations will deck its characters out like the cast of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime.
As revealed during a Tokyo Game Show stage event, characters have their own corresponding Rebuild of Evangelion style, such as the RPG's protagonist Sorey dressing up like Shinji. Alisha is Mari, Edna is Rei, Lailah is Misato, and Rose is Asuka.
Other announcements included an anime special titled Tales of Zestiria: Doushi no Yoake and set to air in Japan this December. The anime will also be available bundled on an anime/game hybrid disc.
There will also be collaborations with 7-Eleven and Namja Town, an event at October's Machi Asobi, a themed PSN card, and more.
Tales of Zestiria should be making its way to North America and Europe by next summer.
