Sailor Moon fans will be able to see Katie Griffin, Susan Roman, Toby Proctor, John Stocker, and Linda Ballantyne. The complete lineup of guests is listed here.
This is the first time this convention is running, organized by Showcase Marketing Ltd. (who are better known for organizing home and garden shows). The convention will be held on Victoria Day weekend, May 17-19, 2014 at the Better Living Centre in Exhibition Place in Toronto. This will certainly make for a busy May for Toronto area anime fans this year! Especially seeing as Anime North is the following weekend.
Attractions at SuperFan ComicCon will include: live entertainment, photo ops, meet & greets with celebrity guests, game town, cosplay game show, local and international artists, seminars and panels, fashion contests, video gaming rooms, and hands on workshops on one of the stages.
Tickets are $20-$25 per day, $45 for the weekend, or $100 for the VIP package. Hours are 10am-7pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 10am-6pm on the holiday Monday. (VIPs get early access). Cosplay is being very encouraged on their website and Facebook page.
